I liked Phillip better as he moved through the story. Yes, there was a moment when he wasn't my favorite character, but I understood his choices and respected his decisions. I loved the brooding, tattooed man better anyway. I felt like I got to know him better later in the story.
If you want a story that had a scintillating ending you won't see coming, then you need to read A Taste of Midnight. I give it 4 cherries.
