I just finished this book and I think it is one of my favorite Betty Neels stories and I have read over 70 of them. The love story is predictable and sweet, but I found myself really caught up in the story and I couldn't put it down. Neels' books are definitely tame by modern standards, however there is something enjoyable about her old-fashioned heroes and heroines. There is nothing graphic, but if you're looking for a sweet escape this is the story for you.
