Very fast paced. I found myself wanting to read "just one more section" before going to sleep. Well written, because you simply don't want to put it down. The character development was good enough to cause me to be on the edge of my seat at times. I appreciated the fear and confusion the characters were going through. So many zombie stories make it appear as if the character has trained their entire life for just such an occurrence, but it was clear that no one had any idea what was happening to them or what do to. They simply wanted to stay alive, making it even easier to empathize.
I definitely recommend this book for the sheer enjoyment of the read.
