July 7, 2006 the famous scene Waldbuehne (literally - Forest Stage) in Berlin, welcomed the outstanding performers of the century - Placido Domingo, Anna Netrebko, Rolando Villazon and the Berlin Opera orchestra under Marco Armilyato. At the concert, devoted to the closing of the World Cup, have gathered 20,000 spectators. The international audience of this event was about 8 million people, live concert was conducted in several countries. Press recognized the broadcast of the concert the most vivid TV event since the "Three Tenors." The program sounded arias and duets from operas by Rossini, Verdi, Cilea, Puccini, Mascagni, Bizet, Massenet.
