I expected to dislike this book since this is a new author and the storyline is formulaic. Surprisingly, I truly enjoyed it!
I expected criminally bad grammar; stupid, slutty heroines, and heroes with no concept of romance. Yet, this book has none of those. The characters are well developed and the storyline isn't rushed and doesn't get diluted with unnecessary characters or subplots. Also, the sex is steamy without detracting from the overall plot. This is a good first novel and I would like to see more from Ms. Tiffany Ashley.
And a word about the cover: Thank you for a cover that doesn't have a black woman who looks like a daytime b-team stripper from the juke joint by the airport, or like a junior high school Photoshop montage created by, well, a junior high kid. (I'm looking at you Sienna Mynx and Dahlia Rose.)The quality cover image actually helped me pick this book over a few others.
