I usually read almost everything Ann Rule writes. I tend to enjoy true crime a bit more than fiction- since it really happened this way, it tends to be more interesting to me. This one has a different ending than most- it spans over a period of a dozen years or so and it is more of a tale of a distraught mother's insistence that a case does not get dropped. Rule doesn't have her usual opportunity to wrap it up by "getting the bad guy", but then that's how it goes sometimes. It was still very interesting and I really do plan to check back on her website in the future to see if they got him.
