Hannah is a dressmaker new to town and JT aka Jericho is a liveryman with a serious attitude and stubborness to go with it. It is a deeply christian book (as to say that the characters depend on faith and prayer for everything), but it wasn't over the top fire and brimstone. The characters are what really make the book great, Hannah is kind-hearted, but stubborn and strong-willed, she doesn't back down from an argument, and I love how she goes toe-to-toe with JT. Jericho is a proud, stubborn man with some childhood memories that formed him into the 'frowned up bear of a man' he is now. The other characters are just as deep, likeable, and well developed as the main ones. I love how Hannah isn't always swooning over how strong and handsome JT is like most heriones in other romance novels do, it's like they love the guy only because he looks good, but this book makes you love the hero from the inside out. I love how they just don't roll over one day and fall in love, but it also isn't dragged on to the point of torture. It was like Hannah fell in love with JT around the same time I did and when JT finally came around all I could do was grin. The minor twists keep the book rolling and there is even a little suspense thrown in.
I couldn't put this book down, literally, I stayed up until 2am just to finish.
